> Intrepid Arms took over Sheppard Pharmacuticals about ten years ago,

> Sheppard-Intrepid Industries: The main holding company. The director,
> Elyena Hayes, keeps tight rein over all of the subsidiaries. SI-I is

> Divisions:
> Intrepid.
> Intrepid Systems -- Weapons and building control systems. Work
> mostly in software and Res&Dev. Products: ICE, expert-systems
> (cybernetics, building control, weapon control, vehicle control),
> neural nets (same).
> Intrepid Designs -- Design custom systems, and more arcane and wierd
> of SI's stuff (this is the most active and agile of all parts.
> Most of the important groundbreaking Res&Dev is done here.
> Intrepid HardWare -- As the name suggests, they build hardware. All
> types: cybernetics, weapons, computers, some smartframes (for internal
> use), and vehicles. This division has fabrication plants in Asia,
> Europe and North America.
>
> Intrepid Light Arms -- A near autonomous (in action and
> self-control) corporate structure through which most of SI's profit
> comes. Builds personal weapons, it contains a number of divisions of
> it's own for R&D, sales, and production.

> Sheppard.
> Sheppard Pharmacuticles -- The progeny of the original Sheppard.
> This is primarily a production group, with little or no active
> research. SP produces a few vaccines and treatments for commercial

> Sheppard BioMedical -- Research into design and building methods
> for bioware. SB works mostly on figuring out how to implant and

> Sheppard BioTech -- Cybernetics and hardware. Like SBM, mostly into
> Res&Dev of design and implanting techniques. The results, likewise,

A basic rundown of the SI corporate structure. Just so that
everyone can follow along the next few week's events... =)
(should it ever come to that, as we all hope it won't... =)
