For those of you who are planning runs on Maxim or Velli herself, here's
a bit of info on Velli.

For those of you who remember Dante, saying that Velli has all his
abilities and more, with none of his faults, will mean quite a bit. To
those of you who don't remember Dante, what I mean is that she's very
intelligent, uses power to further her own ends, is willing to kill and
sacrifice people and friends if it gains her an advantage, is brutally
pragmatic when it's required, and basically doesn't give a damn what
anyone else thinks of her just so long as they still do what she wants
them to. But she also doesn't walk into traps when she knows it's a
trap. She uses the "overwhelming force" method of diplomacy and
security. She doesn't underestimate her enemies either.

After what she did in her rise to power, she knows that she has a hell of
a lot of powerful enemies who would love to see her dead. Because of
this, she is very paranoid and if you get the impression I've made her
impregnable, you'd be just about right. There's ways to hurt her, with
the best being to harm Maxim Arms. The other is to use her history
against her. Some of you might remember the history I'd developed(Caine
knew her history well....**hint hint**) for her, and she's still bound by
it in some respects. If you know what I'm talking about, you'll probably
see a large variety of possibilities. If not, sit back and watch the
plots unfold or talk to the people who do know her history.

I wouldn't want to make it too easy now, would I?

Brian
