I think we've all given up on that... it's more fun to surprise people.
And some of us are quite lazy.

So, should I give in to my evil gm tendencies, then I should just have one
or two npc post to to tk and give a brief intro here?

Er...depends on how badly you are giving into "evil GM tendencies." If
you have anything outside the normal rules, or potentially "unbalancing"
to introduce with one of your characters, then it is best to bring it up
here, first. As in, "I'd like to introduce a character that is a / who
can / ******." Same thing can be said for anything you'd like to see
your characters involved with that may be outside the "normal" bounds of
ShadowRun. If people may have a problem with the idea, then it is good
to give them fair warning rather than just toss it into the communal
sandbox and hope (or give no care) that you won't tick anybody off.
Usually, though, if there are ideas that people thing would be
unbalancing / world altering / etc. a lot of people around here will
typically help you get the gist of your idea into STk, but maybe with
some limitations or in such a form that it won't seriously muck anything
up, and you'll usually end up with a better story, anyway. It helps a
lot if you have thought out the idea well when you bring it to the table
and can show how it won't mess with the world badly.

Pretty much everything that has been done / is already / in ShadowRun is
fair game, though.
