In a recent event, an area of Chicago was turned into a war zone between
unknown forces. A vehicle recycling plant, known as McMarcus Auto
Wreckers was virtually destroyed the other day when approximately 24lbs
of C12 explosives was detonated.
Interviews with local people has revealed that a pitched battle was
fought in the Wreckers Yard, just minutes before a massive explosion
tore the site apart. Security forces investigating the area have found
traces of food and shell casings. I asked Lieutenant Paul Harkose,
Chicago PD, what he thought was the cause of the explosion.
"Well, as far as we can tell on what we've got so far, there was a small
group of people living in the yard for a few days. We have uncovered
sufficient detritus for us to ascertain that whomever was here was more
than likely a group of mercenaries, there was none of the usual garbage
associated with street gangs. Another big clue of course was the
presence of two crashed attack choppers. Forensics has determined that
one was shot down, the other appears to have crashed for no apparent
reason. We also found some body parts near the debris, and we are
running analysis on these remains now. We have been liaising with the
military, and they claim not to know anything about the events here.
Evidence so far indicates that a pitched battle was fought in this area
for a few minutes, before whoever was here blew the place to kingdom
come. From what we've pieced together so far, estimates are that six to
ten people lived here for a period of one week. Who attacked them adn
why is unclear at this time."
Earlier today I was able to catch Captain Grant T. Weissman of the UCAS
5th Armoured division, and questioned him on the presence of the two
attack helicopters.
"Ma'am, I'm not at liberty to discuss this situation with you, beyond
the fact that UCAS forces had absolutely no involvement whatsoever in
this incident, and that we are currently working closely with the
Chicago Police to ascertain the origin of the Attack helos."
He was extremely reluctant to say anything more. A few of the local
people who were near the site, stated that they had witnessed several
large military style transport vehicles arrive in the area about 10
minutes before the battle. They also state that a fairly large number
of troops disembarked from these vehicles, and after the explosion, that
almost destroyed a large section of the yard, they saw these men
climbing back into their vehicles carrying what looked like bodies.
If the military weren't involved in the incident, why were troops
present on the scene? And why were two attack helicopters found crashed
in the yard? Not so much a mystery as a potential cover-up.
A further event, possibly linked to this battle, occured yesterday
night, in Downers Grove, near the Good Samaritan's Hospital. Reports
from local witnesses tell of a running battle between two or three
military style vehicles. What this reporter wants to know, is. Has the
Containment Zone been breached? And, what are the military up to?
