That's unlikely. Paul's character Lynch took great pains to plant a slug
between his eyes. Much as I might find it amusing I don't believe in
indestructible characters nor that one survives a headshot. :) Nah, Thunda
is dead.
> or the head honchette of Thunda's
> Children?(and if you bet- what do you bet?;)

I wouldn't take that bet. He's not the head of the CoT they were pretty much
fragmented beyond much use, Dark Stranger took out the head in Moscow and
re-decorated a room with the remains so he's dead.

Exiled is someone else and no I'm not giving out any clues. He has a
personal grudge against Jason which perhaps oddly for me (snicker) is purely
personal and pretty much mostly imagined.

Other than an excuse for gunplay and isolated terrorist incidents or just
general cannon fodder for the list CoT are mostly finished and gone. I
handed the remainder of this organisation over to the list members to do
with as they will. Blame them for things, hurl abuse or bullets or use them
in plots, so I'm not likely to ressurect that particular headache again. For
me anyway, CoT are done with, they're now a nuisance splinter group with no
organisation and only what money the individual cells can garner from
protection rackets and drug dealing or btl running.

Sorry if that disappoints anyone, but I don't think the list would
particularly welcome or want another plot of this nature or scale, and I'm a
little pre-occupied with various things to concentrate on something that
large.

Sorry, I'm really going to have to get these idents sorted out so it's just
the one name that comes in to the lists. I keep forgetting but I'll lock it
down ASAP to prevent this. It's beginning to look like I'm suffering from
MPD with all the different names that I'm posting with.

Apologies everyone, I'm still me, I think. :)

On a further note while I think of it. The entertaining lady with the
attitude problem from the final scene of the last CoT plot has vanished. Her
problems are far more intense than hiding from Jason or the other people
hunting her. She's got a serious debt to be paid to something much more
powerful than her and an organisation headed by something that could use her
as a toothpick. Dark Stranger again is likely to be the antagonist that
records her demise but she's out of the list on a pretty much permanent
basis.

Easy did... but in her background story, not on the list. And she got a
glancing hit from a small-calibre backup pistol in the temple, which
skidded around her skull between bone and skin until it ripped out
through the back of her scalp.

Not _quite_ the same as getting an explosive-cored .357 Magnum hot-load
clean through the cranium, then your body burned to ashes by some
unknown remote-control mechanism...

And while Abbadon is gruesomely dead, Shaitan his leader found herself
abducted by Something Bad to pay off some debts. It sounds like she
either may not be back in the lifetime of mortal Men... or that if she
did return, she has _far_ higher priorities than saying nasty things on
Shadowland about Lynch.

For my part, Lynch has got bigger problems, few of them interesting yet
from a list point of view :)

He's having recurring nightmares at the moment (unusual of itself, he's
never been a dreamer) about finding himself in a green-lit five-sided
spaceship, pursued by monomaniacal cyborgs, and hearing a booming voice
roar "WE ARE PENTAGON OF BORG! RESISTANCE IS IRRELEVANT! YOU WILL BE
ASSIMILATED!"

People survive these things from time to time. There are accounts from
various medical sources of bullets embedded in the scalp not having
penetrated the skull. It depends on various factors but a head shot is
survivable. My logic in that statement is that the larger majority of
characters on the list are pretty well skilled in the use of firearms and a
headshot is going to be a pretty terminal experience. Cue large man in black
cloak carrying a scythe who only speaks in capitals. :)

Nope, not exactly. And I think it's safe to assume that the ashes are not
likely to come back as a zombie. <g>

Just slightly. In all honesty if she ever did appear back on the list again
Lynch would be such a low priority in her appointment book he'd be lucky to
get a corner of the last page. She doesn't consider him a threat above
nuisance. There are far more important enemies to consider than a man who
really hurled nothing more threatening than words at her. Hardly an excuse
for retribution when you're working at that level of world domination
schizophrenia.

> For my part, Lynch has got bigger problems, few of them interesting yet

So has Exiled. He's not going to be starting any arguments or stammering out
reams of personal abuse, just the ocassional quip and snipe and generally
making unwanted comments to anything he can see that warrants stabbing in
the ribs with a silly stick. :)

That's ok, just so long as the nightmare doesn't extend to "ALL YOUR BASE
ARE BELONG TO US!"... He'll be ok, it's probably just the "Monika" cigars
that are hand rolled in cuba with a secret ingredient for that extra flavour
exclusively for the Whitehouse that's causing these nightmares. LOL

Which is why I wrote that into her history when I created her, back in
1990 :)

Yep. Matters were a little chaotic when she got shot and all the
legitimate participants had other things on their mind than detailed
ballistic analysis...

Same as before, in other words. Shaitan hardly acknowledged Lynch's
existence, unlike the late Abbadon.

>She doesn't consider him a threat above

Did Lynch and Shaitan ever actually speak to each other? I think not,
from memory. Lynch was gunning for the CoT leadership, as was much of
the UCAS military-industrial complex by then, but never got near
Shaitan. Abbadon did his job of maintaining the airgap until he was
killed by an outside party.

Well, there's a Lynch'n'Lilith-centric run coming from a failed attempt
at a vacation, and a "General Lynch" storyline that's also stolen from a
novel I liked ('The Cobra Event' by Richard Preston, and "High Citadel"
by Desmond Bagley are the sources for my shameless ripoffs) but Lynch is
still not likely to start on cigarettes. He's finding it alarming enough
that he keeps calling O-4s and below 'son', when he was so recently an
unpromotable O-2 and fiercely proud of it...

Still, if life was easy, everyone would do it.

No I don't recall that they did. Lynch was a little busy and got sidetracked
into tormenting Abbadon and basically being a largish thorn in operations
but well out of her airspace. Thanks to Erik, Dark Stranger turned into a
far more immediate and important threat. That's mainly why Lynch is really
important to anyone connected with that last scenario, simply because he
wasn't the focus as such more a convenient distraction.

> Still, if life was easy, everyone would do it.

No argument there. It's the main reason I don't bother trying to have one,
life is for those that can afford it both in time and stress. I'll carry on
as I am with no life and an aversion to that time of day when there's that
bright yellow thing in the sky.

Well now, there's a name I haven't seen on the end of a post for a long

Seems like Thunda has got some attention.

OK, for all those who seem interested in hunting him.

Have fun :)

He won't be an easy target.

Ex-Seal. Addicted to combat drugs, suffering CIRS, and a strong
sociopathic tendency. He also believes he is invincible. He can't be
killed, he has right on his side, and all those who follow the right
path are protected, and immortal. He has a mission. :)

Oh, in case I hadn't mentioned it, he's a bit nuts. :)

For those paying money, and for Mr. Bill. He's in Tarislar. (Though
the last post should make that fairly clear. He will be movinge back
into Redmond and Downtown at some point, but for now, he's in the
metahuman camp. (Aren't disguises wonderful) <g>

And by the way, he's also slightly crazy. :)

I'm off to the great white north for a few days, so I'll have no net
access until Thursday night. If someone's going to mop the floor with
Thunda, feel free to include Roy (troll sammie) and Mordred (elf combat

Merry Christmas, and lets try to keep the body count to 3 digits this

For the person playing Thunda (and using DA's account :-) ), Lefty is
deliberately trying to bait Thunda, so he'll lose it at a critical time.
If Thunda is smart enough to figure that out, so be it. If not, I guess
we'll see what develops.

enough to fall for it, but he is irational and slightly nuts, so it's
possible he might :) One never knows with these demented types, quite
what they'll do. :)
