I'm pretty sure that we're coming up to that time of year where there
will be new people joining the list, and this brings up the subject of
the annual hoax virus panics.
Would it be possible, or sensible even to add a small section to the FAQ
regarding these things?

It might, for those who actually read to FAQ, prevent some of the panics
experienced last year on Shadowrn. I'll be adding something to the
Newcomers Survival Guide which will cover the list and a short
description of the things, but I have no way at the moment of monitoring
how many people actually visit that document - not yet. :)
