So what's going on in the Renraku Arcology? I don't see any harm in giving
the basic idea.

Okay, but first, let me address "Year of the Comet." Nothing has been
written yet, to my knowledge. So I have no idea how wacked or crazy it could
get. I do know that Mike Mulvihill does want to try a few things, shake
things up some. But how, where, and how much, it's all yet to be determined.
He has some ideas, but nothing is anywhere concrete yet. It all depends on
what ideas his freelancers send to him and what he likes. It could be
munchkin fantasy land, it could be very grim and dark, it could forever
change the world of Shadowrun. Or it might not. It's WAY too early to tell.

Now, for the Arcology spoiler...if you don't want to know, delete or skip the
rest of this message, just move on, nothing to see here...

The short and sweet of it is, the Arcology has been taken over by an AI. The
Arcology is nearly totally animated, so it was able to gain control and lock
it down fairly easily. There is all sorts of very weird stuff going on, but
I'm not sure I want to reveal that stuff in an open e-mail...not to mention a
lot of it is very very bizarre.

The adventure book is one giant dungeon crawl. It has certain similarities
to Bug City. And it's clearly not for beginning runners. Big nasty stuff
that would eat rookies for lunch.

I'm not real sure I'm personally happy with it, but it is interesting.
