Then, get a very, very good shaman. Cut him, then have the shaman heal it over.
Repeat this process. Then cut him, pour salt/vinegar in it, and have it healed
over. Repeat.

Finally, do something like give him a high-level spinal block and dissect him
while he watches.

Heart-lung machines, etc. would be good here.
