Combat mage, formerly of Aztech (though no information that he ever
worked there seems to be available...at least not on the net...people
interviewed there recognize the face but are tight lipped about anything
further). He specializes in small teams intrusion, insertion, and extraction
and has, to this date, not lost a team member.
His magics seem to be varied. He considers himself to be something of
a "utility" mage. In his own words "If it can be done with magic, it is
very
likely that I already have a spell that can do it or can create it given enough
time and resources". He admits to posessing a wide variety of wide area damage
spells, single target spells, enhancement spells, and healing.
Be weary of this one. He has turned into something of a bleeding heart
"save the world" type. In the past he has flatly refused jobs where, in his
opinion, "wanton violence was called for". He tends to prefer non-lethal
elimination of opposition. Kor: "Hey, they are only doing their jobs. Its
just biz. These people have families too, so put that damned thing away and
let me take care of this".
He tends to ask questions that are somewhat inappropriate to jobs but
we [fixers] tend to let the johnson know this ahead of time and dont send jobs
his way that may cause him grief. It would be a disservice to both Kor and
the Johnson if we dont screen out jobs that arent entirely on the up and up.
If you want something done, be straight with him, dont say one thing and mean
another. Oh, and information -- If you have it, give it.

Private Stuff:
Kor is a 2nd grade initiate mage, and follower of the ways of Bear. Initially
trained as a shaman, he was sent away from home when it was realized that he
had embraced the ways of the hermetic mage. He is still a little shaken by
being rejected by Bear and does eveyrthing that he can to continue to follow
her despite her lack of interest.
Unlike most mages, Kor truely considers himself to be more a utility mage than
a combat mage and his spells reflect this (I could give a spell list but
its fragging huge -- mana ball, bolt, ram, power ball, bolt, shape change,
heal, treat, strilize, fly, bind...you get the picture). If you could
call "getting the job done" a specialty, this would be Kor's.
A true bleeding heart, Kor does everything in his power to "do the right thing"
in this time where hedonistic pleasures seem to rule. Unknown known to most
he currently has an application in to Lone star, and Knight Errant(I think
this is right) to enter the academy for forensic magics. Talk about taking
this goody goody crap too far. [Its not my fault, the character just
developed that way...sigh. I means retirement for the char if I get in].
Also, unlike most mages, Kor has gone the route of "If it wasnt naturally
available to you, buy it and install it". He seems to feel that in the
long run, he can over come any penalties incurred from bio ware and the
bonuses far out weigh them. He has currently installed: synaptic 2,
recorder (smg, stealth), cyber eyes (thermal, range finder, optic 3), Mnemonic
enhancer, cerebral 2, and a data jack (I think I have a I/O processor but
I am not sure).
Im certain there is more I should tell you but I cannto think of it right now.
I could go into some of the runs I have been on, sort of a "kor's eye view" but
I dont think it would be of any interest to you.
