than we want to bite off. Ya see, we have people using ALL KINDS of machines
with all kinds of icky strangeness that I really dont wanna have to get into
or support. VMS editors and Unix editors are vastly different. Then add in
the flavors of Unix and you have a serious mess.
The way I wrote the perl stuff is to have it use the default editor for
the user. Hopefully this is the editor they want to use (having set it
in the environment) and are comfortable with said environment. When I do the
DCL one (assuming I can find myself a VMS machine to do the work on) it will
use the VMS editor stuff.
I have all the formating stuff already supported. I cleanedup the perl code
so that it is at least presentable. Adding more bells and whistles now. :wq
