On the bit about becoming a first tier megacorp and needing to replace one of
the ones already there:

Yamatetsu was the last addition. Before that there were only 7 AAA megacorps.
And the Zurich-Orbital section mentions specifically that the current AAA
megacorps can NEVER be dropped back down to AA status.
