I think that a lot of this has to do with the fact that NONE of this
was discussed before it was thrown at us. If we had talked about it
for just a day or so in plotd I think that a lot of the belly aching and
bitchiness would have been avoided (I would still be annoyed because just
a week or so before we my mage was locked up in something that he couldnt
get out of and wasnt going anywhere).

The AAA megacorp thing is kinda the same way. Someone wants to make
Maxim a AAA mega corp. Great, but was it discussed with the rest of the
"powers to be"? I dont think so. I would have thought that one of the
three (or others) would have understood right off what that would
cause as far as breaking away from the LAW of FASA.

Someone mentioned the other day that X could break off and do his
own list. This is true but what what I have gathered the paper work involved
might choke the horse you rode in on. I could be wrong, however.


A lot of the fixes seem great, really. I dont mind and I honestly
understand the "dinking around trying to figure out what to do when *BLAM*
someone else does something that throws a monkey wrench into your plans --
REACT TO IT (as a DM I would then say -- "we are in real time now")". It
happens. There are other people in the "world" other than us on the board
(making the assumption that shadowtk is more like a bbs than anything else)
and its possible (even very likely) that we WOULD have gotten the information
just like we did "SHIT THEY DID IT...THEY REALLY DID IT" "did what?"
"THEY
BLEW UP CHICAGO -$#%# Link Terminated" and then have all of us wonder what
the hell just happened. We cant be everywhere at once (though, some of us
do try).


Again, if this has been discussed as was requested things would
have turned out better. As it stands right now you have launched a
chain of events that cannot be easily ignored. This is, in effect, put your
plot in and thrown everyone elses out. In my opinion, FAQ or no, that was
unfair and pretty damned rude of you. I know that the FAQ says to stay as
close to the FASA time line as we can but EVERYTHING else gets discusses before
its released to the shadowtk board.
