I talked with Tom Dowd about this in particular. The problem that,
on August 20, we did not know what had happened in Chicago. We did not
know until almost a month later. So there was a fix required...everyone
just knew about it.

The AAA was also entirely against FASA. No way are they going to
incorporate that.

Me, what I think would be QUITE cool would be a entirely FASA-sanctioned
listserv. As in, if we could get Tom Dowd on these lists, we could quite
possibly have the coolest game in existance...because we could edit the
plot of the world, no matter how minorly.

Personally, I'd think it would go more like >>>>>[Important info.

cago is fragged. Get the hell onto some of the news lists and start reading.
NOW.]<<<<< -- Sysop <T/D> The people there had some strange stuff
going
on...it wasn't the nuke that started it, it was the fact that suddenly there
were THOUSANDS of bugs flying around killing people.

More sudden than most things that have ever happened.

And I also don't see that I killed anyone else's. I just required
some possible changes.

Would I be required to ask about anything else that was in the books?
"Is it OK to use a cyberdeck for my char?"

This is background, and it needed to be done. That's about it.

I am sorry for the problems, but I didn't SEE it as such a big
problem...certainly not worthy of sending out a message saying what was
going on.
