from what you say - chicago went up august 20 - thats almost two months ago.
The problem is - we didn't learn about until last week - and NO ONE BESIDES YOU
AND A FEW OTHERS KNOWS WHATS GOING ON!!!

NO - before we screw with whats happening SOME ONE WILL TELL US WHAT IS
SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN AND FROM WHAT SOURCE THEY GOT THE INFO.
The 20th does not in itself sound bad, but you have to make sure that other
plotlines will not be SCREWED by yours.
Remember - that though we try to follow FASA's game world there are times when
we are slow to react. Germany changed from an Empire to a Republic of states on
us - that was bad - and that only trashed one major character (DOOM) and
inconvienced a few others (his group).
What you want to do is change something Major to fit Shadowrun before people
are ready with their plotlines. At the moment there are 3-4 plotlines (not
mentioning sub-plots) involving Chicago or the UB. There are also 20-30
Characters who are involved in some way or another (heck - I have 6 characters
involved total - and two in two of the plot lines!!!)

NO, WE ARE NOT ON FASA's schedule - we follow FASA's world. If FASA says a
certain part of the country is this way - its that way. If FASA says certain
things happen at a certain time - and then tells us about MAJOR EVENTS A MONTH
AND 1/2 AFTER - we don't follow. We WILL catch up - but we have to do it
intelligently - We can't keep to a FASA schedule on this List - that is
impossible.

AND the BlitzKrieg - UB plot? IF the UB isn't really as Big as before - why
did they come after Blitz and Co? Oh I know - lets see, Well Blitz and Co
ticked off the UB but suddenly the UB disappears from Seattle and we say that
they've been gone for 6 MONTHS or something?

NO WE ARE NOT, we are telling the game world - you changed things that happened
over 2-6 months ago and never told us - well, we need time to get concurrent.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT YOUR CHICAGO POST ISN'T WORLD EFFECTING!!!
A MAJOR CITY is trashed!!!!
A NUKE IS DROPPED!!!!
EVERYONE FINDS OUT ABOUT BUGS!!!!
IF that isn't major - I DON"T KNOW WHAT IS!!!
FASA didn't hurt anyone - they are just developing the world. Game Master take
this information and then fit it into their world. So what you DO is think of
PLOT-D as the GM for the ShadowTalk world, when something comes along the GM
find the right time to introduce it. Thats what we're trying to do, find the
right time to introduce the changes.
NOW - lets stop saying "WEL I"M GOING TO DO THIS" - AND TELL US WHAT FASA
HAD
HAPPEN SO THAT WE CAN INCORPERATE IT!!!
This means - informing us of ALL THE BACKGROUND
Tell us what happened in Double Exposure and Burning Bright and of the history
that led to these points.
If these things do not happen, and things start to happen that interfere with
the plots that are running, people might get MAD and interfere in other plots.

PS - if you have ever noticed - I hardly ever react like this, and I try not to
flame - what you are seeing is a very angry and annoyed person.
Also - remember that I am the person who came up with a quick fix Idea in the
first place - all I requested was that you tell us about Double and Burning.
remember - plots sometimes stall for a bit or are put on hold - it normally does
not matter all that much. To say that "MY PLOT HAS TO HAPPEN BY THIS TIME" is
not all that realistic, and is untrue - it does HAVE to happen - it what you
want to have happen.
