violent nature of his death, but he would be hanging around Flute for
the most part. It would be tricky getting him to Riglia unless Flute
was nearby, but still possible. He would presumably know it was Riglia
who put Flute in her current condition. If he somehow learned where and
when the final fight with Riglia was, he could fly off for vengeance
(motivation is no problem there, it was revenge (or justice) that got
him killed in the first place, so it's not out of character). To get
him informed, I would suggest Flute regain at least partial consciousness
first, and then just before the fight, someone calls the clinic to inform
her that they've found Rilgia and are going to take him out. Kovak's
spirit of course hears this and takes off to join the fight 'to exact
justice on the person who tried to kill his daughter'.
The motives fit perfectly: Humanis, trying to kill his last family member,
etc. It's just getting him away from Flute's bedside that pose a
problem.
BTW... I had Basilisk see mysterious lights from Flute's room. Either
it was from Kovak, or Bas really needs more sleep these days, your
choice.
