Well if anyone is intersted in the idea I have a mage ready to go
"chaotic" to see what its like. I have developed rules to cover this
which coinside with both SRII and the Grimoire, but they will require
some debugging.

I still maintain that the SRII world seems to exists on one plane of
magic and that the difference between the different schools of magic is
purely a genetic/personal one with little actual difference other than
the mental links used to acuire, harness, and (especially) manipulate
these powers. To understand this insight you must, however, put aside
both your own personal understandings of "magic" as well as any
preconcieved notions of what a SRII shawman or hermetic would BELIEVE and
look at the rules as well as the sci-fi that has been written to cover
these instances. If you will do this you will find that the reality of
magic in the dark future is a perceptional one.
