Yes. So, there is no magical immunity power, but there is Spell Defense and
Shielding, which normal magicians in Shadowrun can do. I.e. no need for
"nega-mages", whatever they might be. Certainly, a Grade Zero initiate who
has for whatever reason lost all his Magic Rating through whatever means would
still be able to use all his Sorcery Skill as Shielding, even though they
might not be able to cast any spells.
