Actually, I had originally intended to have Maxim try and make an object
lesson to one of you with the death threat. Show that they could find
something in your past and control it totally, like assassinating an old
flame, or something along those lines. But I have changed my mind on
this regard.

And I've also changed my mind about not talking about my current Maxim
plot as well. So here goes.

Maxim is working to acquire the raw materials and plans in order to build
themselves a nuclear arsenal. The run on Ares was stealing a tactical
nuke that had been spirited away by an internal agent. The current run
is current, so I'll leave what they're stealing until it comes out.
There will be one more run, by a corporate strike team based out of
Redmond, that hits Shiawase Atomics out in Glow City and steals some
plutonium.

After all this, Maxim will attempt to use all the goodies they have and
build a small arsenal. I have every intention that this would make Maxim
disliked enough that many people here would disregard even the death
threat to destroy Maxim's ability to do this. Thus the end result would
be that Maxim is still where it is today--big, but without nukes.
