Entire immunity to magic does seem a bit extreme. It's on a level with
entire immunity to monowire or bullets. Saying that you can just ignore a
major part of the FASA universe undermines a big chunk of what SR is
about. Strong resistance is one thing, but being able to say "Hell
blast? What are you babbling about?" or "What force 10 insect spirit
queen?" is a bit extreme. If his ability was really this powerful, I'm
sure a lot of big corps would have taken a major interest in his well
being, so to speak.
