It went ballistic for a day or two. But an initial public offering is a
far cry from an existing corp going up that fast. What's Netscape done
recently?

Could Vathor be buying it's own stocks? Sure. It'll make them less
valuable in the long run as those stocks become dead weight on their
balance sheet, but it's possible.

Currently, the only times I see radical rises like that in a real
corporation is when someone is rumored to be buying them out or when a
really small company releases a new product. If Vathor had acquired
something like Seattle's security contract, I could see a rise this large
too.

But hey, this is me.
