I would have liked that too, but unfortunately the wraith would know
where my character was since it was Shade who knew and used its true name
with the fetish. Also, the banishing attempt, with the aid of the fetish and
true name would have made my character more of a distraction and an object
for the wraith to seek. It would most definitely want revenge for my
character having trapped it on this plane. It would come for Shade no matter
where I hid, until Thel showed up and provided a larger distraction.
Normally, such a blow into a wall would kill a human. However, Shade
would have had a friend spell lock a very succesful armor spell to increase
his body, and he can afford hardened armor since he has the money and he knew
that we wouldn't be able to run. He is after all a conjouring specialist.
He would know that any wards would not hold the creature at bay for long
because of its strength. Therefore, he would have worn his hardened armor,
the spell lock, and some gel packs, just in case. This would allow him to
survive the wounds of being bashed through the wall. I seen some characters
take worse in games round here. Shade also has platinum Doc Wagon, so they
would come for him.
Knowing my character, he would also pay a retainer fee to Doc Wagon to
pick up Thel when she was done there. Both would probably be recuperating at
one of my character's safe-houses in the wilderness and near a stone circle.
Simply put, no I don't want this character killed even for such a good
cause because he is just getting established here. However, I see it as only
being the logical consequences of Truename magic. This I pull from having
played magical types over all the years I have played shadowrun.
