Actually, my interpretation has always been different, as I'm discussing
in r.g.f.c. with regards to new elementals and spirits. I don't know of
any hard and fast rule about it, but when I do something that I would
attest to space magic here on Tk, I have a second or third explanation
ready for it. In this case I figured a bonded free spirit, and the good
Dr. gave a second.

Actually, if it was freed, it would get angry at Maxim and then go back
to it's metaplane of origin.

What do people want, a free spirit or a new critter? Personally, either
is fine with me. I didn't expect it to generate as much discussion,
though, and I figured that it would be left behind with the facility,
since it doesn't leave and won't.
