Nope. The man behind most of what is going on just has a thing about mid to
late 20th century comic books. Most especially marvel.

(Actually I was having trouble coming up with names for all these
characters. I started with one Marvel character then another, then decided
that maybe this would be a good quirk for the mastermind.)
