I doesn't _have_ to be big eight. I just wanted something of enough
importance that when it's posted people (read: characters) will look and go
"gee, that was useless. what kind of a scrag would waste bandwidth on
telling us that <insignificant person> was killed? loser."

I just want an important enough person that characters will go "wow, they're
dead?!" and the character controllers will go "so he's dead? doesn't
effect anything, but nice story"
