And having been on both sides(both causing the surprises and being
surprised), I agree that some feedback is vital. My biggest complaint
was your call for extensive detail, which is something that I never have
before a run gets going. The reason is that as soon as I start a plot,
other people get involved and so the plot evolves. Yes, I always have an
end in mind, and so that evolution is always guided(sometimes a bit more
heavy-handedly than should be, I must admit), but the details change
pretty quickly.

So, Randy!? How about a little more detail? As you can see, at least
two of us don't think you should have the same level of bugs here on the
list as you described in that post you put up. So, how are you willing
to change it so that we can all come to some guideline on what the upper
bounds on this particular plotline is?

Oh, BTW, when Mark and I agree on something like this, there's a decent
chance that a large percentage of the people on the list will too.
Reason being that Mark is one of the most conservative players here in
regards to things like bugs, horrors, and hard-core plots and I'm one of
the most liberal. I throw in Wraiths here and there because I feel they
add to the atmosphere, he destroys the same because he feels they detract
from the atmosphere.

Of course, I'll probably get thwapped most judiciously for daring to
dream about considering contemplating what I actually just a said(ie.
putting words in Mark's or anyone else's mouth), so I'll shut up now.
