Neither does a mage with any sort of magic pool and the brains to use it
right. The spirit, on the other hand, does not have a magic pool, and is
also limited in the force it can cast. Sure it can get tougher with Karma,
but so can any street punk. And the first time the free spirit comes up
against, for example, a force six city spirit (conjured up by any real
shaman with a snap of the fingers), he's DEAD. Direct force to force
contest, he's rolling three dice target six, the others rolling six, target
three. No contest. I stand by my comments.
