I've been lurking for a week or so (and reading the archives), and I've
noticed that 90% of the messages on shadowtalk are *****PRIVATE to someone
or other, mostly about various shadowruns that they're arranging or
whatever. I was wondering if it would be appropriate now to start
discussing the upcoming '57 elections. (I know you're supposed to wait a
month or so, but enough time should have passed.) It seems like
something that lots of folks would be interested in discussing publicly,
instead of *****Secretly.

Spider is a dwarf grad student at U-Dub, working on his doctorate in
Mechanical Engineering (specializing in Drone Design). He's a fair decker
as well as an expert in building and running drones. He discovered
Shadowland in his youthful hacker days and continues to read it to see
what the corps are up to. It's doubtful that anyone would have met him in
person, but his Matrix Icon is a mechanical spider-mech.
