"Farmer" is a terminal at the Special Liaison Group. The SLG is one of
the many "small" agencies of the UCAS government, a black-ops unit with
an extremely wide remit.

The SLG is rather like the old Agency in some ways, or like the CIA in
the 1960s/early 1970s: formed with the specific role of co-operating
with foreign agencies, they shed that role years ago and now pursue
their own agenda, using covert arms, chip and drug sales and "protection
money" from crime syndicates for funding (thus escaping oversight). They
are also funded quite heavily by a "charitable foundation" - in fact,
Aztlan.

In short they're powerful, nasty and dangerous, though low-profile. They
want Lynch and Lady out of the way because SIGA exists to - among other
things - stamp on groups like them, and they want to eliminate the
threat before it notices them.

Interestingly, the SLG has official power, but daren't use it: SIGA has
no power except a willingness by its few field agents to operate outside
the law.

If you want to run with any of this, would you mind keeping me informed?
I don't mind people using my creations as long as they play nice :)

Also, as if you couldn't guess, Redemption will not be able to kill
Lynch and Lilith, though he may get close. I'm wide open to ideas on how
the story will go - what's the guy's style, preferred method, et cetera.

Could you send me a quick description of him? There's a scene I'm
writing - someone may get in touch with an offer of information - and it
writes better (at least for us two) if I know what he would wear to a
meet (in someone's room at the Sheraton, safe neutral turf), any
mannerisms, does he smoke, is he a he or a she, what does he drink, the
usual.
