Which is why Val took extraordinary precautions to make sure it was
perfectly safe. Considering the sheer number of initiate grade magicians,
greater form spirits and elementals, regular spirits and elementals,
allies, and free spirits(greater and not), it would probably be one of the
safest weddings ever.

That greater form toxic spirit wouldn't have been able to get through the
active astral barrier, assuming it could get through the patrolling spirits
and get within a kilometer of Haven right now(since I suspect the party is
still going strong).

And in a place where the background count goes in anyone's favor who is
defending Haven? (evil grin)

Not to say Haven is impregnable, but it's close enough at this point that
no small unit or quick and easy attack would have a good chance of success.
