Well, that's a good question. It seems to ba aimed primarily at new GMs
and Players, though there are some intriguing rules for Shadpshifters
and things. I personally like much of the book, even though in my
opinion it goes to great length to state the obvious. It achieves what
FASA seem to intend with it, and expands character creation, GM control
of the game, with a few extra bits and pieces thrown in for the old
timers.

Basically it covers Character Creation (with some new angles), Skills
and Training, Contacts and Enemies (interesting but now Shadowland is
accessible to absolutely anyone), some new rules, ideas and
clarifications are offered for Karma, Magic, Prime Runners, SOTA, and a
bit of in game character stuff, Runnng the Game and Alternate Campaing
Concepts. It also offers a revised Shadowrun Character Sheet, though I
still prefer my own <grin>

A pretty good all round book, though some of the experienced GMs have
complained about it. Me, I like it, and would gladly suggest anyone,
new or old, player or GM, go out and buy it. Although not all of it is
usuable by everybody, it offers enough to keep the majority thinking.
