With your permission of course, Sascha...

As a result of the recent attempt on his life, and the fact that he has
made some _very_ serious allegations regarding the behaviour of Federal
and Security forces in the Seattle area, (and the escalating situation
with Lynch.) It would seem prudent that the District Attorneys Office
(DAO) would prefer to keep Abraham in a "healthy" condition, so that the
pending court case will provide the vindication that is required to
reinstate public trust in Seattle's protective forces.

In light of this, he now has an escort of six agents. Working in
switchback pairs. This means the pairs switch between each other when
tailing, making detection a damn site more difficult. It also gives
them more flexibility for trailing the perp. Also, there will be a
federal investigation into Abraham's background. And from what little I
know of this sort of investigation, they dig deep, and don't stop until
they come out on the other side.

Any further attempts on Abraham's life, or any further outbursts on
trid, may result in Abraham being taken into protective custody by the
FBI. This will be backed by a signed order from The Seattle county
Judge, and legalised by the DAO's office. He will be held at an
undisclosed location, under heavy guard. For his own protection (of
course). He will _not_ be interrogated, or mistreated in any way,
though he can claim whatever he likes, when it gets to court. <g> He
will have access to all the creature comforts, and will have anything he
wants (within reason). Except freedom. <g> Any messages that he needs
to get to "friendlies" will of course, be transferred via the guards,
and will be censored. :) After all, we wouldn't want any of those
"nasty" Shadowrunners or fascist Satan son feds getting at him, would
we. :)

It is possible of course, to get Abraham out of protective custody, by
three methods. Shadowrunner extraction... Hmmm, unlikely <g> I don't
think too many of them will like what he's said.

Another is escape, not impossible, but certainly _very_ difficult. This
will of course be taken as a sign of guilt, and a manhunt will result.

Third is for his own people, and attorney's to fight for his freedom
through the courts. This will of course take some time, and the court
will need some serious justification as to why his legal representation
would want him in the open and in danger. :)

Alternatively, if he notices the tails, he could always try and
disappear <g> He just won't be very safe.
