Nope. I think that at the time of writing the game, and sticking to
something moderately simple without several of the same type of
character running around, FASA chose to leave what was essentially, back
then, still Science fiction, and stick to their Science Fantasy thread.

Anyway, just because it's not written in black and white in a
sourcebook, doesn't mean it's not possible, it's sort of hinted at. But
then, how many GMs would allow it. think of all the characters who'd
have clones of themselves made, and then the rich and famous... etc etc.
Nasty little can of worms that I personally am glad FASA left shut.
