Don't use this header. Public posts to Shadowland are indicated by _not_
having any header. *****PRIVATE: and *****INTERNAL: are used to direct
posts either to someone specific, or in the latter case, to reflect some
sort of communication system that is kept well away from Shadowland and/or
the Matrix.

Do use spaces. Preferably two after periods and colons. It makes things
easier to read. Do check your spelling one way or another. People tend
to give more respect to posts that are written with care.

Do use a time stamp based on some sort of time zone (commonly suggested to
be Pacific time--for Seattle--or GMT), and use Military Time, unless due
to other constraints of real life, you can't post at the time the post
should come out in the world of ShadowTk. If you have to post from an
unusual time zone, due to where your story is going down, it helps to tag
the T/D with a time zone (like some post from NZT that Jaimie Nicholson
sent lately). I see you are in Central, so am I, which means I subtract
two hours from my posts (and tag it with PST or PDT, but that's because I
am a stickler for continuity). It keeps the post logs to come out in the
right order temporally, although, failing that, people can use the T/D
stamp to keep things straight.

Don't use .signature files when posting to ShadowTk. It's bad form.
Nobody cares if they appear in PlotD, but we try to keep the suspension of
disbelief on ShadowTk as small as possible. Okay, so its a pebble off of
a mountain, but it makes the logs look better.

Re: Firefly--just since I'm on my soapbox--having multiple interests is
hardly weird. Being proficient in all of the above, however, is
reflective of the old adage: "Jack of all trades, master of none."
