Actually, guys, he's not all wrong. Just not all right.

Exchange/Outlook has a setting for "Always reply in RTF format" inside the
address book. It then promptly binary encodes ANY mail going to that
person in RTF (which is text based.....so WHY BINARY ENCODE IT?).

the RTF codes, are stored in the WinMail.dat file.

There is some talk around here that Winmail.dat will go away in Outlook 98.
