It may just be that I don't have the preferance set to recieve copies of
my own message, but just in case no one received it (and since no one
seems to have commented on it) I will repeat my case.

There is no need to have an "email provider" to SEND email...only to
recieve it. Using [almost] any email program, you can specify which
machine will be used to send your email (an SMTP server), and as long as
you specify the appropriate addresses within your settings, no one will
ever have to be aware of the difference. This is easy to do, is in no way
"wrong", and seems like a very easy solution. If anyone needs help
setting it up, I'll be glad to help.
