But.... What about Japan, Germany, France, and other countries? If
every S-land node sees the same set of messages, it should be
acceptible as far as s-land is concerned to have posts in completely
foreign languages. (And thus, we have a few logistic problems from
earlier threads that have already come and went on shadowtk.) For
example, German runners should be allowed to post in German about their

local events. (In matter of fact, if memory serves correctly, in the
German Sourcebook that was done for English Speakers, there is a post
on S-land that was done in German.)

Ratspeak wanted to post to the Boston node because the post should be
discussed by Boston runners based on the fact that it immediately (and
definitely) impacts them. The rodent didn't want to talk about the
post to Seattle's node for a variety of reasons. (Mostly because the
rodent doesn't view Seattle as the center of the universe.)

Nightmare (under a different handle probably) should be active on the
German and British nodes of S-land, but most of those messages are
probably not relayed over unless someone is specifically looking for
dirt on something. In which case, they are probably in the native
language of the area.

I remember reading that shadowland nodes were present in most cities.
The reason (imho) that they have the hubs in every city is so that
local runners can utilize the node without having to jump through all
sort of tricks to see other nodes.

There are two examples that come to mind about Shadowland. The first
one is the end of the dump from Zeb Wanderly about the Universal
Brotherhood. The second is the beginning of the Tir Tairngire
Sourcebook.

My impression is that instead of having Croaker repost the note for the
Seattle node to see it, should I post the note from Ratspeak and have a
+++++ posted @******.Shadowland.Node
at the beginning? If so, why would it make it over to the Seattle
unless someone was doing a search?

(And Croaker would be disqualified in this case because he would also
be active on the Boston Node and thus not force a load of the message
to the Seattle Node.)

Idk, for the post I had in mind, it would work better if Croaker
reposted it to Seattle, but I will do whatever the humble "we" decide
is best. (As you can probably see, I'm still trying to work this out
in my head...)
