Juno sent a reply to its customer service - automated of course.

-----
We're sorry that you are experiencing difficulties using the Juno
software. Below, you will find a list of help documents which contain
all
-- or many -- of the words in your support request. Please check the
list
to see if you would like to receive any of these documents.
-----

Well, the rest of it was basically every help file Juno has, and none of
them were relevant to the subject. Then, it continued:

-----
If these documents have not helped you to successfully resolve the
problem
you are experiencing, you can receive live technical support by calling
900-555-JUNO [555-5866]. Please note that this call will cost
$1.95/minute.
You must be 18 years of age to use this service.

(Because Juno is a free service, it is particularly important that we
conserve resources for our core mission, which is providing free e-mail.
For the minority of our members who require human intervention to use
Juno, we make such assistance available, but we ask that those members
help cover the much higher cost of live technical support.)

So much for earbashing on deaf ears... ah well.

LPHnS,

GG

Disclaimer

These messages were posted a long time ago on a mailing list far, far away. The copyright to their contents probably lies with the original authors of the individual messages, but since they were published in an electronic forum that anyone could subscribe to, and the logs were available to subscribers and most likely non-subscribers as well, it's felt that re-publishing them here is a kind of public service.
