*sigh* There should be some sort of software delay between reading messages
and posting them. I think that'd take care of 90% of the flame on the net.

But.. now that that's done with I'll actually comment on something useful.

With regards to the posts on gangs and swat, it seems almost like it's going
to balance itself out, albeit at a higher level of violence. By 205x, a
corrupt police run state seems quite likely if both of these trends continue.

(Interesting thought, we haven't seen much evidence of any corruption in
Achilles or SIGA.. or perhaps I missed it?)

So what this means to the average citizen is that I think they'll be a lot
more receptive to the men in urban camo by that time.. heck, if it's that or
risking getting caught in crossfire between rival and expanding gangs, I think
I'd prefer the police state..

Perhaps the portrayal of Denver is the most accurate description of what a
city would be like in those times.. multiple checkpoints, heavy security all
over the place, and underneath it all a layer of corruption so thick you could
drown in it.

Point is I think the opinions of Lopez would be a lot more common than
those of Dr. Nonsense.
