It's unleased on the Matrix. Calling it a smartframe may be too simple: it's
acutally a collection of smartframes collaborating with each other and a
group of human supervisors.

Part of Cthulu will indeed be investigating Shadowland, but the overall
scope will be much greater. The thing isn't going to make a pest of itself,
and the sysadmins will probably notice that something was poking around, but
if "good" deckers can edit their timestamps on a quasi-regular basis then I'd
say that the esteemed sysadmins aren't going to be able to rebuff this thing
out of hand.

Well, it doesn't have to hang around Shadowland to cause trouble for people...
remember, "the net is vast and infinite", and Shadowland often serves at best
as a routing nexus.

For example, I think it would be reasonable for a large, determined force to
discover that a message had just been sent to Haze, though perhaps not what
that message (the one from Farmer) contained or who sent it.

By the way, for the people involved with the Haze plot, what information will
a determined search reveal about the place where Haze made his last "public"
posts from? I'm talking about normal surveillance cams, trafficams, billing
records, proprietor, customer registers, the works.
