software -- I think I've covered most of the issues, but I am certainly
open to discussion on this list:
1) Add the ability for list members to modify their own characters. User
identifiers and passwords will be assigned to secure this function.
2) Add a 'status' field to the cast list database to indicate the current
'status' of a character. (ie: "Active", "Inactive",
"Dead", etc..)
3) Revamp the user interface completely.
4) Automate mailing of the cast list to the tk-cast mailing list. Yes,
this mailing was supposed to be happening for a very long time but has
been ignored. I'm slack. Shoot me. :-)
5) Retroactively categorize all existing characters. I think the way that
I am going to handle this is that I will mark all characters in the
database as 'inactive' and require the currently active ones to be
manually set as such. It'll just be easier that way.
6) Remove the characters that were added but never used or referred to.
There are quite a few that were posted by new list members who for one
reason or another never actually posted a message to the list. This
clutter should be removed.
Any additions to my list, or to the 'wish-list'? :-)
