I'm not an admin, but I won't let that stop me from replying. :)

No, it's not. Really. It's a collaborative storytelling enviroment. If
some people have been put off by a perceived attitude, then I'm sorry. But
that's not the intention at all.

It's not a, "YOU CAN'T DO THAT!!!" response, though, it's more of a, "I
don't think you should do that," or, "Are you sure you should do that?"
response. I can't stop you from posting whatever you want; I don't *want*
to. But when I see something I disagree with, naturally I may comment on
it. Ideally I'd only offer constructive criticism, but nobody's perfect.

Look, you want to use stuff from your campaign, fine, good, I (and a lot of
other people here) have done that too. You want to explore some of the
areas FASA has left fuzzy or blank, again, same thing, more power to you.
But the campaigns people play in vary a *lot* in terms of power level, world
view, etc. It shouldn't be surprising if material from personal campaigns
needs some adjustment before it will fit in reasonably well on the list.

We're all playing in the same sandbox here; it's a big sandbox, but we still
have to be careful not to step on each other's toes or castles.

Please, don't take any of this personally. People are going to have
different visions of what's going on or how the ShadowTalk world works; when
canon material won't resolve the issue, the only other way is to hash it out
here on PlotD (and there have been some pretty heated disputes, like the one
over who should be able to chanhe their time-date stamps.)
