FASA can include all the "twists" they want in their published works. It's
their world
and they can do whatever they want as long as it sells books. If we aren't happy, we
won't but them. Shadowtk is _our_ world. You haven't included a "twist" you've
made
assumptions about how the world works without consulting the list. Now, I believe in
the power of a writer on this list to take liberties with the world. But, what you are
doing,
Eraskanti, is annoying. I'm not as up in arms about this as some others because I don't
think it's as big a deal as they do.
And for the people up in arms about Eraskanti's post. It's not a "world
changing" thing
that he's done. It's _possible_ within the world of SR, if not probable. It's
potentially
an overdone concept (look at my powerful mystery man!).
What Eraskanti wrote is, at worst, world modifying tripe. At best, it's something
different
that no one on the list had thought of before.
Personally, I'm just tired of seeing yet another savant character.
