I'm been somewhat involved in this, and so, I have to ask, in all seriousness:

What the hell is the problem? With either side of this arguement?

I don't really understand the quest bit myself (I understand it would be difficult,
but other than that, where's the _real_ problem with it?) As long as Eraskanti
didn't bring in house rules for what can and can't be done (which I'm not sure he
did or did not), there shouldn't be a problem. Looking at what he said about the
drain bit (the extra aging) it doesn't really affect anything because, lord knows,
people have characters on this list that can do incredible things.

(example: the Draig's, Velli, Wanderer, Brian A.s new guy (i mean, do you have
any _concept_ of how difficult it is to fight 10 people at once?), Blade, Lynch, etc..)

So that shouldn't be any big deal.

The Richard Villiers is my dad bit: I didn't think tDS was actually going to go after
Prophet since it's preposterous that RV actually is his dad. I wouldn't believe it
myself because the reason given is flimsy as hell. If Eraskanti actually _does_
plan on making it a truth, then that should be discussed, because it does change
what anyone can do about Villiers down the line, involves the big 8, and doesn't
fit well with canon.

That doesn't mean it can't be true. It just means that Eraskanti and his characters
need to keep a lid on it. Hell, I'm sure if I brought onto the list the stuff that is
supposed to be in Blade's past, the list would have a fit. I just circumvent it
by not telling few people if any.
