Yah. I think that was the only real problem.. because if you'd notified those
of us involved.. well.. I know I would have gone for it. (Hell.. does this
thing pick up on any mention of their name? Or just messages from or to them?
If it picks up on the mention.. it could be very interesting)

What you say re:deckers/virii/research (and magic for that matter) makes
sense. I think it's just been the PBEM idea that's been screwing you up. I'll
tag along with Frank in his last post.. nobody's saying you can't do these
things, we're just saying that when what you do looks like it may change what
most's view of the world is (or what you know/can know about our characters)
let those involved know have a chance to say something about it.

Now with those quests, that's iffy.. I'll admit I don't know more than beans
about SR's magic system.. but I always knew quests were a legit way to get
information. It seemed perfectly reasonable to me that a quest could tell you
such details about a person. I think it's possible the mistake here could be
an honest one.. just a case of not knowing that it would actually affect the
world view at all. It's one of those grey areas where I guess if you always
played it that way it'd be seen as commonplace in SR.. and somebody was bound
to get stepped on with it.

Heck, that's part of the reason I've set N9 on a back burner for a good while
here. I want to work solidly within the bounds until I've gotten to know
exactly where they are. Xenon's a good choice for that.

Agh.. I guess what I'm saying is I get the feeling you're saying, "Don't
worry, I'm not going to be writing here anymore.." and that's certainly not
what *I* want.
