Sounds to me like the situation is ripe for the high-up muckity mucks above
SIGA to put some pressure on them then. Like they solve the case, but
instead of congratulations they get demerits and court martials for
insubordination, going AWOL, violating the rights of a sovereign foreign
nation, violating the rights of a foreign national, and so on. Not to
mention the fact that I'm sure they could be tried for murder the next time
someone dies and generally be bound (as much as any shadowrunner is) by the
laws of the jurisdiction they are in.
And once word gets out that Lynch and his fellow jack-booted thugs are
still stomping around Miami, the Carib League politicos are going to
seriously scream; but SIGA is still hidden at this point, right?
Looks like an ideal situation for SIGA's enemies to seriously ratchet up
the pressure on Lynch and company.
Something to toy with anyway.
