Which is exactly why I mentioned it; I'm going to have to adjust not only
the Dark Stranger's skills, but also his gear, because I doubt I'll be able
to translate Firearms:5 into Pistol:5, SMG:5, AR:5, etc. I'll probably
have to drop SMG totally, lower AR, and try to keep Pistol up. That
changes things a bit.

Reportedly, and this was something mentioned (partially because I bitched
about it alot) but not put into writing for the playtesters, there will be
a section, probably an Appendix, that will discuss some ways to handle this
adjustment. Some of that should be applicable to TK.

As I said before, the purpose of me bringing this to the list is to try and
get people thinking about what they can do, at least as far as fudges and
fictions, to make their transition on TK from SR2 to SR3 easier. I fully
understand that much of the changes we can cover up with some creative
writing and that's what I'm hoping we all do.

Besides, don't grumble too much. It's a great improvement overall. I'm
very pleased with what I've seen and been told from Mike M. and Steve K.
yes, it's change, but sometimes change is good! ;-)
