That was the first thing I checked many moons ago when the problem first
reared its ugly head. Mine is blank (I use Pine) and there is no option
to put something in the "Reply To:" field.

I can understand how setting up your mailer to fix the reply field could
do that, but I didn't, so your hypothesis doesn't fit my situation.

Suffice to say:

Always check where you are sending email every time you reply.
