No, you're wrong. Sorry, but there it is. We're not being politically
correct. In a multi-user
forum, it is considered 'correct' to mostly snip the previous post, but to
leave *ENOUGH*
in to enable those not directly involved in that thread to figure out what's
going on. ON
plotd at any one time there may be several conversations going on, so posts
just saying
"No, I thought it would've gone down a lot quicker than that." are not
useful. Having said
that, leaving the entire previous post in, as you just did, is also a bit
annoying.

What I think you're referring to is private one-on-one email, where yes, you
can snip
the entire previous post because the second party will, of course, know what
you're
talking about.

Oh, and, by the way, it's much easier to get a teeshirt saying "Newbie" than
it is
to say things like "I was actually using the internet way before being
politically correct was in ". ;-)
Being politically correct on the net? Since when was *ANYONE* politically
correct
on the net? Oh, and how long's a long time to have been on the 'net? 1 year?
5 years?...
...17 years? :-)))

James.
First modem in 1984...wow, I'm like, old, man...

" Sorry didn't mean it as a flame, but I was a little annoyed with the
post. Also My e-mail lists the previous message at the end and not at the
beginning. As for nettequitte, I was actually using the internet way before
being politically correct was in and most people that I talk to over e-mail
don't want the previous info. But for popular opinion i will put them back
in.
Sorry for the inconvience. "
