Actually, the sense I got from it was that he was just warning people
before the had a chance to respond to the job offer that his plot involved
BBoy winning the particular encounter. Well done, IMO. It saves time
from getting responses from people who don't want to have their characters
fail and/or die trying.

That depends, but for the most part I agree. A good fight where the
opponents are woefully mismatched is sometimes good for a few laughs if
nothing else. You make some good points, but I think you may be getting
worried too soon .. let's wait until after he screws up so we can jump
him. :-)
