Which is why I wrote that into her history when I created her, back in
1990 :)

Yep. Matters were a little chaotic when she got shot and all the
legitimate participants had other things on their mind than detailed
ballistic analysis...

Same as before, in other words. Shaitan hardly acknowledged Lynch's
existence, unlike the late Abbadon.

Did Lynch and Shaitan ever actually speak to each other? I think not,
from memory. Lynch was gunning for the CoT leadership, as was much of
the UCAS military-industrial complex by then, but never got near
Shaitan. Abbadon did his job of maintaining the airgap until he was
killed by an outside party.

Well, there's a Lynch'n'Lilith-centric run coming from a failed attempt
at a vacation, and a "General Lynch" storyline that's also stolen from a
novel I liked ('The Cobra Event' by Richard Preston, and "High Citadel"
by Desmond Bagley are the sources for my shameless ripoffs) but Lynch is
still not likely to start on cigarettes. He's finding it alarming enough
that he keeps calling O-4s and below 'son', when he was so recently an
unpromotable O-2 and fiercely proud of it...

Still, if life was easy, everyone would do it.
